UkuleleKing.Net started back in "the college years" when I met a girl that played the ukulele. I guess my love for the Uke grew more out of all those times we spent playing "Drop Baby" and "Over the rainbow" on her front porch under the beautiful summer sky.

     My first real ukulele was a Lanikai LU-11 Soprano Ukulele.  Being the way that I was, in order to get the price I wanted I had to buy 20 of them.  It was great to get an amazing uke for super cheap, but then there was the problem of having 20 ukuleles.  Because of the killer deal I got on the ukuleles I was able to turn around and sell them cheaper than people could buy them in stores, online, or anywhere else for that matter. 

     Everyone knew they were getting a screaming deal on their ukulele and I loved it when their faces lit up when they saw it . . . wrapped up, still in it's box.  But they always seemed like they were keeping a secret when they handed me the money; like they were stealing it from me.  They had done the research, just like I had, and knew that they were getting the best deal around.  What they didn't know was that I wasn't stupid . . . I was making a few dollars too. 

     And that's the way it still is; only now we mostly ship straight from the manufactures warehouse, not touching any hands in between, on tons more styles, brands and accessories; plus, we are adding more all the time.
